Hong Kong — 10 December 2024— Edwin Kwok & Co is pleased to announce that highly-regarded capital markets and corporate partner — Iris Leung —has recently joined the firm as a partner.
Iris is internationally recognized for her capital markets and M&A expertise where she has advised on numerous landmark transactions over the last 20 years, including various first- of-its- kind transactions, such as many of the largest HKIPOs, London and Swiss GDR offerings and US- related fund raising and capital markets transactions and market- leading M&A and DCM transactions. Her established track record encompasses a vast array of industries including, but not limited to, AI/TMT, EV, new energy, FIG, insurance, health care, consumer and other industries.
Iris joined Edwin Kwok & Co from international law firm K&L Gates, where she co-led theCapital Markets Practice in China. Before that, Iris was a partner in Linklaters for 5 years, where she led the US Practice and was a key member of the Equity Capital Markets Practice.

Iris Leung is a recognized leader in the capital markets and corporate practice and has advised issuers and underwriters on a significant number of listings of Chinese and multinational companies on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and other major international bourses for 20 years. She has also advised numerous bulge-bracket investment banks and private equity and venture capital funds in many landmark and innovative capital markets,M&A and other fund raising transactions.
